A paper on the Open Dialogue approach: “In this paper three main themes are considered. First, I analyse the importance of the present moment in family therapy. Second, I explore the polyphony of voices as the main aspect of human psychology and its meaning for family therapy dialogue. Third, the effectiveness of dialogism in the treatment of psychotic problems will be illustrated in the province of Western Lapland in Finland.”
